At St. Ignatius parish we’ve discerned our call to work for ecological justice as a community. We seek to be formed by Laudato Si and transformed by the Gospel so that caring for creation leads us to be in solidarity with our sisters and brothers who suffer from poverty, displacement, or exclusion. Learn about the variety of ways that you can join us below!
This Lent gather with fellow parishioners to reflect on Laudato Si, build community, and share ideas about how we can work for ecological justice together. Parishioners can choose between two different formats -- Climate Change: Call to Conversionand Healing Relationships in Lent with Pope Francis. Below is a description of each program as well as times of small groups that are open for new members. To sign up, leave your name and contact information near a group on the vestibule bulletin board or email ecojustice@sipdx.org. Additional small groups will be added throughout January as they form. read more...
